Darus Maddox brings efficient scoring and veteran shot-making to North Carolina A&T
Darus Maddox is a seasoned guard whose calling card is perimeter efficiency and calm, experienced play; in his 2024-25 season at George Mason, he averaged 13.7 points while hitting 60 threes, and his career numbers show a reliable outside touch and steady free-throw shooting. He’s the kind of guard who can space the floor, punish closeouts, and give a team a mature, low-drama scoring option. At 6-foot-0 and 150 pounds, he’s more finesse than force, so he fits best with a team that values shooting, poise, and quick decision-making over downhill physicality.
