Louisiana Tech's Rebounding Forward with Untapped Potential
Oliver Powell, a 6-8 power forward from Louisiana Tech, delivered solid bench production in the 2019-20 season, averaging 1.5 points, 2.5 rebounds, and 0.6 assists across 28 games (12.6 MPG) with a 40.6% FG clip, stepping up for five conference starts. High school standout rated 22nd in Texas by Rivals with 9.1 RPG and 2.9 BPG averages, his length, motor, and rebounding tenacity make him a gritty role player differentiator—perfect for teams needing blue-collar bigs who battle without needing touches. No notable injury history; raw upside for development.
