Nicholas Moten brings a sturdy right-handed frame and swing-and-miss potential to SIUE’s staff
Moten is a 6-foot-1, 205-pound right-handed pitcher whose profile is built on physicality, athleticism, and strikeout ability, highlighted by 33 strikeouts in 22.2 innings for Crowder College in 2024 and a 13.1 K/9 mark.[1][4] He has also logged Division I experience at Arkansas and spent summer ball with the Trenton Thunder, suggesting a pitcher with some bullpen-ready competitive mileage rather than a raw lottery ticket.[1][2][5] The main draw is upside: a strong frame, live arm, and the kind of recent production that makes him worth tracking for teams needing mound depth and punch-out relief help.[3][4]
