Deuce Bailey brings a live arm, mobility, and a fresh-start upside battle at QB
In the 2025 season, Deuce Bailey showed flashes as a dual-threat passer at Missouri State, completing 23 of 47 passes for 335 yards, 2 touchdowns, and 0 interceptions, while adding 81 rushing yards and a score; his best outing was a 278-yard road win at Middle Tennessee. He enters Coastal Carolina in 2026 with familiarity in Ryan Beard’s system, but he’s still in a real competition for the starting job. The appeal: a young QB with movement skills, some playmaking juice, and room to grow if his accuracy sharpens.
