Rutgers OF Jayla Fuller brings versatility, gap power and run-saving defense
In the 2025 season, Jayla Fuller appeared in 24 games for Rutgers and posted a .189 batting average with three doubles, while also earning notice for clutch defense in the outfield and the ability to fill multiple lineup roles. She is the kind of fit teams value for versatility, steady glove work and a high-effort profile rather than pure loud numbers, with Rutgers using her in left field and as a dependable depth piece. That makes her appealing for a roster that needs athletic depth, defensive reliability and a player who can contribute in several spots.[1][4][6][10]
