Alec Halter brings pop, speed, and two-way buzz to Wright State
In the 2025 season, Wright State catcher Alec Halter hit .303 with a 1.019 OPS, 20 home runs, 69 RBI, and 24 stolen bases, making him one of the most dangerous all-around bats in the Horizon League[11]. He was also a First Team All-Horizon League pick and ABCA/Rawlings All-East Region Second Team selection, which says the production is real, not just loud[11]. The big differentiator: he’s not just a catcher who can hit; he’s a run-producing spark with athletic upside, strong competitiveness, and enough versatility/history as a two-way player to add a little extra edge[2][11].
