Grayden Harris is emerging as a high-end strikeout lefty for Southern Miss
In the 2025 season, Harris flashed real impact stuff for Southern Miss, going 5-3 with a 3.39 ERA in 15 starts and showing the ability to work deep into games, including a season-high 6 1/3 innings in the NCAA regional. In 2026, he took another step, earning Sun Belt Pitcher of the Week after a career-best 13-strikeout outing and finishing the year with an 8-1 record, 107 strikeouts, and a 5.63 strikeout-to-walk ratio that ranked among the nation’s best. He stands out as a competitive left-hander with bat-missing ability, poise, and enough command to profile as a dependable weekend arm.
