Gabriel Nutter brings swingman value and strike-throwing touch to SIUE
In the 2026 season, Gabriel Nutter made 12 bullpen appearances for SIUE, went 4-0, posted a 4.29 ERA, and struck out 19 while walking only nine across 21 innings, showing the kind of reliable strike-throwing that coaches love in a midweek or relief role. He also tied his career high with four innings in a win over Saint Louis, which hints at useful length, not just short-burst relief. The big sell: experienced, versatile, and competitive enough to handle multiple roles without getting rattled.
