Taylor Starling brings speed, depth, and cornerback upside to North Texas
Taylor Starling is a fast, physically competitive North Texas corner who has already shown game experience: in the 2024 season, he played in all 13 games, made four starts, and finished with 20 tackles, 1.5 tackles for loss, and four pass breakups. He was also credited with 74 tackles and three interceptions as a high school senior, which matches the twitchy, aggressive profile scouts liked coming out of South Oak Cliff. The catch: he missed the entire 2025 season due to injury, so his fit depends on how quickly he bounces back and whether his recovery restores the same burst and confidence.
