Early-impact UAB arm who calmed Florida and earned instant conference notice
Riley Miller entered 2026 as a redshirt freshman RHP and quickly turned heads, tossing 3.0 scoreless innings in his first career appearance against No. 13 Florida and earning American Conference Pitcher of the Week honors in February 2026. He profiles as a poised, strike-throwing righty who can handle pressure moments, and UAB trusted him in a high-leverage season opener. Recruiting pedigree matters too: Perfect Game ranked him the No. 5 RHP and No. 25 overall prospect in Alabama for the Class of 2024. If you want a young arm with composure and upside, he’s a legit fit.
