Freshman guard Damyen Jackson gives Loras a true shot-maker with poise
In the 2025-26 season, Damyen Jackson has already flashed real upside for Loras, including a 24-point A-R-C tournament championship game and a 22.0 points-per-game average across that two-game stretch, while shooting 60% from the field and 60% from three[14]. He also drew praise for getting the Duhawks on the board early in an exhibition against Southern Indiana and for attacking the rim and the foul line, which hints at a guard who plays with confidence, pace, and a competitive edge[10][13]. As a freshman from Davenport and a 2024 Iowa state champion, he looks like a local impact guard worth caring about if you want energy, scoring juice, and a player who can rise in big moments[3][5][8].
