UAB Blazers' Explosive Freshman Guard from 2016-17 Era
Javien Williams burst onto the college scene as a UAB Blazers guard in 2016-17, playing in 33 games with 3 starts and averaging 15.3 minutes, including a standout 11-point, 3-rebound debut win; his athleticism shone through Woodlawn High roots and HoopSeen national ranking (122 overall, 14 positional), marking him as a high-upside wing with scoring pop and intensity. Post-UAB, he evolved at ULM (12.2 PPG, 4.0 RPG in 2018-19) before pro ball—versatile, rebounding guard with steal/block chops ideal for teams needing energetic, multi-tool backcourt depth.
