Trevor Booton’s Auburn story is all projection, not production — yet
In the 2026 season, Auburn right-hander Trevor Booton is still more intriguing than proven: he’s a 6-foot-5 power arm from LaGrange, Ga., who did not appear in a game across his first three seasons with the Tigers, but his high-school résumé was loud — 13-0, 2.17 ERA, and 117 strikeouts in 84 innings as a senior. The appeal is obvious: size, arm strength, and pedigree, plus enough off-field buy-in to earn 2026 SEC Academic Honor Roll recognition. For a team, he’s a development bet, not an immediate innings-eater.
