Jamere Pendleton is a rangy, fast-rising Indiana State defender with upside at the line
Pendleton enters the 2026 season as a redshirt freshman DL for Indiana State after playing linebacker in high school, and his profile screams athletic versatility and room-to-grow upside. Indiana State lists him at 6-foot-2, 235 pounds, and his background includes 92 tackles, 1 sack, 5 interceptions, and 2 fumble recoveries at Brownsburg, plus track speed that hints at range and burst. He already contributed on defense in 2025 with 2 assisted tackles, so he looks like a developmental fit for a staff that values effort, movement skills, and multi-role toughness.
