Jalen Worthley is a versatile lefty with real swing-and-miss flashes for Nebraska
In the 2026 season, Nebraska LHP Jalen Worthley has shown the kind of profile that can quietly win games: he’s been used in multiple roles, has already earned wins in key spots, and brings left-handed leverage with strikeout capability. Nebraska’s roster notes list him as a pitcher who made 15 mound appearances, and box-score results show he can miss bats in short bursts. He looks like a useful fit for a staff that wants competitive, adaptable arms—especially if you value poise, matchup flexibility, and a pitcher who can handle meaningful innings without the spotlight getting to him.
