Cecil Williams brings veteran forward production and rim-to-rim hustle to Central Michigan
Cecil Williams was a steady two-way forward for Central Michigan in the 2017-18 season, averaging 14.9 points and 6.5 rebounds while starting all 36 games, and he added value with 2.6 assists per game plus 153 made free throws, which shows real pressure on the rim and a knack for getting to the line. He wasn’t just a box-score guy: reliable minutes, toughness, and a versatile, inside-out scoring profile made him a high-usage engine for the Chippewas, even if his outside shot was only modest in that season.
