Cross Nimmo brings size, pedigree, and upside to WKU’s TE room
Nimmo is a 6-foot-5, 249-pound redshirt freshman tight end at Western Kentucky who arrived with a three-star recruiting profile and top-15 positional billing from ESPN, plus strong production at Lake Catholic: in the 2024 season he had 33 catches for 530 yards and 4 touchdowns, after 29 catches for 791 yards and 15 touchdowns in 2023. His best selling points are NFL-ish frame, red-zone value, and real pass-catching juice for a TE; the question is how quickly that production translates against college defenses. He looks like a fit if your team wants a developmental mismatch weapon with upside, not an instant finished product.
