Josaiah Asuega brings size, early snaps, and gap-stuffing upside to Montana State
In the 2025 season, Josaiah Asuega was a true freshman defensive tackle at Montana State who redshirted while still appearing in four games and logging four tackles, including two at Oregon and two against San Diego. He arrived with a strong prep résumé—6-foot-4, around 305 pounds, and a senior season of 46 tackles, 10.5 tackles for loss, and four sacks—so the appeal is obvious: big frame, disruptive juice, and enough motor to flash inside early. He looks like a developmental interior defender with power and backfield presence.
