Morehead State freshman DB Colin Jefferson brings length, speed, and active tackling upside
In the 2026 season, Colin Jefferson is a freshman defensive back at Morehead State, listed at 6-foot-0 and 175 pounds and already appearing in the rotation for the Eagles.[12][14] His profile suggests an athlete with good functional size for the position and the versatility to develop into a physical coverage defender who can also help in run support.[11][13] He is a local Louisville product from Male HS, which often signals a player who knows how to compete in a no-frills, high-effort program—exactly the kind of tone-setter coaches like to stash in the secondary.[12]
