Kaymen Coleman brings hometown grit, comeback juice, and deep-play upside to Chicago State
Kaymen Coleman enters Chicago State’s first Division I season as a 2026 junior wideout with a 6-foot-2, 194-pound frame, and the story is as compelling as the tape: he’s a Chicago native who battled injuries, multiple college stops, and even a security job before landing back home. In 2025 at Judson, he produced 33 catches for 239 yards, and in high school he was a second-team All-City defensive back who also scored eight touchdowns and nearly reached 1,000 all-purpose yards as a receiver. He looks like a culture-fit player: tough, resilient, and wired for the underdog grind.
