7-foot SEMO center Mason Hanback brings efficient rim protection in a low-usage role
Hanback is a big-bodied, 7-foot center who has been a steady bench piece for Southeast Missouri State, giving the Redhawks efficient interior play, shot-blocking, and rebounding in limited minutes. In the 2023-24 season, he played 26 games, shot 59.5% from the field, and posted eight blocks with 39 rebounds, while his 2022-23 season showed similar efficiency at 88.9% shooting in a small sample. He fits best as a size-and-defense add: not a high-usage scorer, but a long, physical rim presence with clear value as a situational paint defender.[6][1][3]
