Larry Jones III brings disruptive edge pressure and a plug-and-play motor to New Mexico State
In the 2024 season, Larry Jones III logged 5 tackles and 0.5 sacks in limited action after transferring from Liberty, and he entered New Mexico State as a 6-foot-1, 250-pound edge defender with active status and junior eligibility. He looks like a high-effort, physical DE who can give a defense some bite in the run game and flash as a rotational rusher; his best fit is for a team that values toughness, depth, and special-teams energy over instant star power.
