North Dakota State’s Noah Gordon brings catcher value with pop, arm, and run production
In the 2025 season, Noah Gordon emerged as a legitimate two-way catcher for NDSU, starting 34 of 41 games while posting 20 RBI, four home runs, a .350 slugging percentage, and a .977 fielding percentage; he also ranked second on the team with 229 putouts.[1] His biggest differentiators are his ability to contribute offensively from the catcher spot and to handle a heavy workload behind the plate, and he flashed clutch upside with a two-run triple in a 2025 win over Northern Colorado.[2] At 5'10" and 190 pounds as a junior, he profiles as a compact, durable option who fits teams wanting steady receiving with enough bat to matter.[10]
