Junior right-hander giving NDSU needed innings and strike-throwing stability
In the 2026 season, Connor McCaleb gave North Dakota State a steady bullpen-to-starting option, appearing in nine games with nine starts and logging 40.2 innings with 18 strikeouts; his season highs included five strikeouts in 6.0 innings against Monmouth and another 6.0-inning outing versus South Dakota State. At 6-foot-1, 200 pounds, the junior transfer from Mineral Area CC brings a sturdy frame, lefty-righty versatility, and a repeatable profile built more on compete and reliability than flash. He looks like a fit for teams wanting a durable, low-drama arm who can cover innings and keep games on track.
