Keon Young brings ball-hawking upside and SEC-ready athletic traits to Ole Miss
Keon Young is a 6-0 safety from Lakeland, Fla., and a former top-35 national safety recruit who arrived at Ole Miss with real playmaking juice and a knack for turnovers; in high school he totaled 112 tackles and 20 interceptions, including seven pick-sixes, which is the kind of résumé that screams “finds the football.”[1][3] For Ole Miss, the appeal is his range, instincts, and aggressive mentality — plus he enrolled early and got spring work, which usually helps young defensive backs speed up the jump to SEC football.[1]
