VCU infielder Brendan Horne brings a polished, projectable left-side profile
Horne is a Vanderbilt-commit infielder who stands out for his **athleticism, smooth infield actions, and projectable bat**; Prep Baseball Report notes a balanced right-handed setup, a quick exchange, soft hands, and accurate throws across the diamond. He also shows enough offensive upside to matter—his showcase exit velocities have reached the low-to-mid 90s mph, with solid bat speed for his size. He looks like a high-floor, high-upside fit for a program that values clean defense, coachability, and room to keep adding strength as he matures.[1][2][6]
