UTRGV’s power bat and record-setter in the infield
Raygoza is one of UTRGV’s most dangerous offensive pieces, pairing real power with production; in 2026 he is hitting .308 with 17 home runs and 50 RBI, and UTRGV says he ranks among the program’s all-time leaders in total bases, homers, RBI, hits, and doubles. His upside is driven by a left-handed bat, impact extra-base power, and a track record of earning conference recognition, including hitter-of-the-week honors and player-of-the-year buzz. If you need a lineup anchor with proven run-producing ability, he fits.
