Mady Yackee gives Toledo a gritty, strike-throwing option in the circle
In the 2026 season, Mady Yackee has been a versatile relief arm for Toledo, with flashes of swing-and-miss ability, including a season-high four strikeouts in 3.2 innings against Ball State and a strong 4.0-inning outing with just one earned run at Lehigh. She is not the flashiest name, but she competes, gives the Rockets innings, and has academic all-conference credentials to match the reliability. The fit is simple: if you want a pitcher who can handle pressure, work multiple innings, and bring a dependable, team-first presence, she’s worth a look.
