Tallahassee righty battling through a rough 2026 stretch for FAMU
In the 2026 season, Roan Tarbert has flashed swing-and-miss stuff at Florida A&M, but the results have been bumpy: 7 strikeouts in 5.0 innings, with a 14.40 ERA and 9 walks, which points to real arm talent that still needs sharper command. He’s a local Tallahassee product and junior right-hander listed at 6-foot-1, 190 pounds, and the big differentiator is the strikeout ability that keeps him interesting despite the control issues. If your staff believes it can clean up the zone, there’s upside here; if you need instant polish, he’s more of a development play than a plug-and-play fix.
