David Santiago brings proven edge production and transfer-track upside to Michigan State
Santiago is a 6-foot-4, 253-pound EDGE who played all 12 games for Michigan State in 2025 and finished with 24 tackles and 2.5 tackles for loss, showing he can hold up as a steady rotation piece with disruptive flashes. His broader résumé points to a high-motor, versatile front-seven defender: he previously produced at Air Force and has a track record of tackling, backfield disruption, and pass-rush impact, while Michigan State coaches viewed him as part of their effort to raise sack production.
