Nigel Walls brings a rare stretch-forward skill set to SMU
Nigel Walls is a 6-foot-10 SMU freshman forward with real long-term upside because he blends size with perimeter-oriented skill, which is why evaluators tagged him as a four-star, top-60 prospect in the 2025 class. He’s not yet an instant-stat-stuffer, but his appeal is the modern big-man profile: he can space the floor, handle the ball some, and fit into lineups that value versatility over old-school post play. For a team, he’s a good fit if you want developmental upside, shooting potential, and a forward who can evolve into a matchup problem.
