Tate Foxson brings arm strength and two-way flashes, but needs command to take the next step
Foxson’s appeal is his raw arm talent: recruiting data lists a fastball up to 93 mph, infield velocity up to 98, and a quick 6.77-second 60-yard dash, while his 2025 season at Butler showed swing-and-miss ability with 28 strikeouts in 31.2 innings over 18 appearances. The concern is control, as he also walked 19 and finished with a 10.23 ERA, so he looks more like a developmental upside play than an instant plug-and-play arm. If your staff can sharpen his strike throwing, he has the tools to become a useful power piece.[2][3]
