Malik Smith remains a Minnesota backcourt stabilizer with veteran polish
Malik Smith’s Minnesota résumé shows a veteran guard who can give you steady minutes, knock down shots, and fit into a rotation without demanding the ball, which makes him useful for teams that value low-drama reliability and spacing. Minnesota’s roster page lists him as a senior guard, and his Gopher debut season featured multiple double-digit scoring bursts off the bench, including 16 points against Syracuse, a sign of instant-offense upside rather than flashy volume. He looks like a fit for a team needing experience, composure, and bench punch over star-level creation.
