Dominant 0.72 ERA RHP with Elite 14.4 K/9 and Big-Time Competitor Intensity
Luke Schat is a proven junior college winner and elite right-handed pitcher for Nevada, currently posting a microscopic 0.72 ERA, 14.4 strikeouts per 9 innings, and 0.88 WHIP across 25 innings this season. His differentiators include a relentless 'big-time competitor' mentality, a 6-0, 190-lb frame that delivers consistent 85 mph fastballs, and a knack for closing out games under pressure (e.g., his 5-1 win vs. Delta). Unlike many stats-only prospects, Schat brings intense game-closing experience, a 7-1 freshman record with two saves, and a reputation as a 'proven JC winner'—making him an ideal fit for teams needing a reliable, high-intensity RHP who thrives in win-or-lose moments.
