Hunter Small brings a live arm and transfer-portal upside to Indiana State
Hunter Small is a right-handed pitcher with size and a power arm profile (6'3", 231) who arrived at Indiana State after pitching in five games at Western Kentucky in 2025, where he posted an 11.37 ERA; that stat line suggests he is still searching for consistency, but his frame, mound opportunity, and transfer-portal move point to untapped development value. He is worth tracking if you want a projectable RHP who could fit as a depth arm or bounce-back candidate, though the current data says the appeal is more about tools and upside than proven production.
