Chereef Knox brings veteran wing toughness and low-usage efficiency to Coppin State
Chereef Knox is a seasoned Coppin State wing who has shown he can contribute without forcing the issue: in the 2020-21 season he averaged 5.8 points in 15.4 minutes while shooting 27.3% from the field and 31.0% from three, and earlier at Saint Joseph’s he appeared in 26 games in the 2019-20 season with a season-best 12 points in multiple games. His real value is the mix of positional size, versatility, and experience from winning programs—plus a Philly background that usually means he plays with edge and resilience. If you need a dependable, glue-guy wing rather than a high-usage scorer, he fits the bill.
