Nash Cooper brings size, burst, and real edge off the Utah Tech front
Nash Cooper is a 6-foot-3, 235-pound freshman linebacker for Utah Tech whose calling card is physicality with pass-rush juice. Utah Tech’s staff specifically described him as a “tough, physical outside linebacker with good pass rush ability,” and his high school résumé backed that up with 19 tackles, 5.0 sacks, an interception, and a pass breakup in just six games in the 2024 season. He’s the kind of linebacker who can fit a pressure-heavy role and bring some nastiness to a defense—useful if a team wants a young edge defender with upside and no shortage of attitude.
