Brit Simmons is an emerging vertical threat for Lamar
Brit Simmons enters the 2026 season as a sophomore wideout for Lamar after flashing efficiency in 2025, when he caught 4 passes for 58 yards in limited action and averaged 14.5 yards per catch. He looks like a fit for teams that want a young, developmental receiver with upside: he’s already shown big-play juice, and Lamar’s own preview singled him out as part of a deeper receiver room. The appeal is less about volume right now and more about growth potential, explosiveness, and whether he can turn limited opportunities into a larger role.
