Missouri State’s experienced lefty still brings strike-throwing value after an injury-hit year
Wissler is a 6-foot-2, 190-pound redshirt junior left-hander for Missouri State who missed the 2026 season while recovering from injury, but his track record shows a strike-throwing arm with rotation upside. In the 2024 season at Missouri, he posted a 3-1 record, 4.38 ERA, 37 strikeouts, and only 7 walks in 37.0 innings, and Missouri State lists him as a seasoned transfer with 61 career strikeouts in 62.2 innings. His best fit is a staff that values poise, command, and a dependable left-handed look—less flamethrower, more crafty southpaw with real bullpen-or-starter flexibility.
