Karrington Asp is a 6-foot-2 forward for North Dakota State who went from high-school top-100 recruit to a breakout redshirt freshman, then made a real leap in 2025-26 by averaging 10.9 points and 4.8 rebounds in 34 games and earning Summit League Freshman of the Year plus Sixth Woman of the Year honors. Her calling card is efficient inside scoring, physical rebounding, and a nose for timely production off the bench; the fact that she became the first player in program history to win both awards in the same season says a lot about her impact and competitiveness.
