AJ Bianchina brings versatile, high-IQ depth to Pepperdine’s lineup
AJ Bianchina is a redshirt senior utility player for Pepperdine who gives the Waves flexible coverage and a steady veteran presence. In the 2026 season, he hit .208 with a .269 on-base percentage over 19 games and 7 starts, and he chipped in 5 runs, 2 RBI, and 1 steal, showing he can help in small, situational ways[1][3]. He’s not a loud-stat player, but his value is in roster flexibility, experience, and the kind of competitive utility profile coaches trust when they need reliability and plug-and-play defense[1][2].
