Marek Bolson brings left-handed upside and catcher athleticism to Kent State
Bolson is a fresh-faced Kent State catcher with real two-way intrigue in the batter’s box and behind it: in his final high school season in 2025, he hit .403 with 11 extra-base hits, 26 runs, and 19 RBI, and was praised for a mature left-handed barrel, easy loft, and strong, accurate arm from the crouch. Recruiting and scouting outlets repeatedly highlighted his athletic receiving, quick transfer, and projectable frame, plus a competitive edge that helped him stand out as one of Wisconsin’s top seniors.
