Sydney Berzon gives Oklahoma a seasoned, high-end arm with ace upside
Sydney Berzon is a senior right-hander for Oklahoma in the 2026 season who arrived from LSU with a proven track record: 52-25, a 2.02 career ERA, 416 strikeouts in 486.1 innings, and All-SEC honors in each of her three LSU seasons, plus NFCA All-America recognition in 2023 and 2024. In 2026, she’s been on the USA Softball Top 50 Watch List and has already shown she can handle big moments, including a five-scoreless-inning outing against Texas A&M. The draw is obvious: veteran poise, strike-throwing volume, and a résumé that screams plug-and-play ace.
