UT Martin Infielder Gia Recrosio: Elite Power, OVC Honors & Unmatched Intensity
Gia Recrosio, UT Martin's junior infielder (5'1", L/R), stands out with a career .557 batting average and .613 OBP, earning All-OVC 2nd Team and two Pitcher of the Week awards in 2026. Beyond stats, she's a 18+ Open Champ with explosive strength (snatched 100 lbs, deadlifted 235 lbs), relentless game-day intensity, and a 'fam-first' personality that fuels team cohesion. Her 3-hit games and RBI singles (vs. Lindenwood, EIU) prove clutch reliability. With no injury history and a drive to 'work on squat depth,' she's a high-fit, battle-tested leader for any team seeking grit, power, and contagious enthusiasm.
