Evan Doyle’s 2026 bullpen breakout gives FDU a live right-hander with strikeout bite
In the 2026 season, Evan Doyle emerged as a useful relief arm for Fairleigh Dickinson, making 10 appearances, posting a 1-0 record, and striking out 21 batters in 17.2 innings for an impressive 11 K/9. The separator is the swing-and-miss stuff: he’s shown the ability to string together scoreless outings, including back-to-back clean appearances against NJIT and LIU, which suggests poise and late-season trust. He also brings a sturdy 6'1", 205-pound frame and a starter’s background from high school, making him a fit for teams that value strike-throwing upside and bullpen flexibility.
