Lenny Junior Ashby is hitting like a middle-of-the-order force for New Mexico
In the 2026 season, Ashby is back in Lobos colors and still looks like a high-impact left-handed bat: he earned Mountain West Player of the Week after hitting .667 with a 1.964 OPS in a sweep of San Diego State, showing extra-base pop, plate discipline, and clutch production. The big selling point is his proven track record—he’s an all-conference veteran with a career reputation for driving the ball and creating runs, which makes him a strong fit if your team wants a disciplined, battle-tested outfielder with real game-changing swing leverage.
