UConn’s 7-2 rim project with real international pedigree
Rrezon Elezaj is a long, developmental center at UConn who brings size, shot-blocking upside, and a productive international résumé: in the 2024 FIBA U17 World Cup, he averaged 6.1 points, 3.1 rebounds, and 0.9 blocks in 16.9 minutes, and in the 2025 FIBA U18 EuroBasket he posted 5.4 points, 5.4 rebounds, and 2.0 blocks in 17.7 minutes. He’s still a raw freshman who has played only sparingly for the Huskies in the 2025-26 season, but his length, defensive instincts, and efficiency around the rim make him a classic upside bet for a team willing to develop a true center.
