Michael Akuchie brings size, scoring pop, and two-way versatility to Youngstown State
Akuchie is a 6'8" forward whose game stands out for his ability to score from multiple spots, rebound, and contribute defensively with steals and blocks. In the 2021-22 season at Youngstown State, he posted 296 points, 202 rebounds, 23 blocks, and 29 steals, and he has a career NCAA high of 34 points in a game. [3][1] He’s the kind of frontcourt player who can stretch the floor with 3-point shooting, guard several spots, and bring steady production rather than flashy volume, which makes him a useful fit for teams needing a reliable, multi-skilled forward.[3][4]
