Wyatt Halvorson brings swing-and-miss upside with pro-level frame
Wyatt Halvorson is a right-handed arm with real bat-missing traits: Arizona State listed him as leading the Alaska Baseball League with 60 strikeouts in 37.0 innings for a 14.59 K/9 and a 2.68 ERA in summer ball, and he flashed strikeout stuff for ASU too, including six strikeouts in three innings in his 2024 first start and three K’s over 3.2 scoreless innings in a 2026 outing.[1][7][12][13] At 6-foot-4 and 230 pounds, he looks built to handle innings, and the consistent ground-ball help suggests a profile that can play in a big-game rotation or bullpen role if command keeps trending up.[2][5]
