Versatile, physical wing who did the dirty work and scored in bunches
Freddy Hicks has been a rugged 6'5" guard/forward for Tarleton State, and in the 2024-25 season he averaged 13.0 points, 5.1 rebounds, and 1.9 assists while giving the Texans real two-way juice. He’s valuable because he can score at multiple levels, rebound like a forward, and create mismatches with his size and toughness; Tarleton’s own notes also credit him with becoming the first Texan to reach 1,000 career points in the Division I era.
